Christmas Chocolate Covered Oreos

I am constantly on the hunt to finding the easiest ways to make amazing treats ESPECIALLY for the holidays! Let's face it - there's really not enough time in the day during this time of year.

These chocolate covered Oreo's could not be easier to make. The only thing you'll really need to do is melt the chocolate! Even the drizzle is premade!

Making the Chocolate Covered Oreo's

MELTING CHOCOLATE:

FILL COOKIE MOLD

I love using these cookie molds. They come in a 2-pack and easy to use.

  • Fill cookie molds with chocolate about 3/4 to 1/2 way

    • Fill a few at a time so the chocolate doesn't set too quickly

  • Slightly press Oreo into the chocolate just enough so it covers the sides

    • Don't press too hard; you don't want the top of the cookie showing through the chocolate

  • Fill remaining cavities of mold with chocolate and cookies

  • Seal off the tops of the cavities with more chocolate to completely cover

  • Place mold on to a baking sheet to keep flat then place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to set the chocolate

DECORATE COOKIES

  • Remove the cookies from the mold by gently peeling them out

Tips for Success

  • If your chocolate is too thick, add some vegetable, avocado or coconut oil to thin it out

  • Work in batches and quickly so your chocolate doesn't set

    • The Wilton Cookie Drizzle dries VERY fast!

  • Use the cookie icing or chocolate drizzle as glue to add the icing pieces

  • These can be packaged nicely in a box or presented on a Christmas themed plate
